USMS May Auction the Last 40,000 BTC In This Year


In 5th September USMS revealed that they will auction the rest of Silk Road’s Bitcoin someday in 2015.

The online dark market Silk Road was closed by American government in 2013. FBI found 29,655 BTC from the Bitcoin wallet of the web server and confiscated over 144,000 BTC from Silk Road’s administrator.

The spokesman of USMS said: We have not yet announced the auction date,but it should be done before the end of this year.

So far,USMS has had three successful Bitcoin auctions,the last one happened in March. 12 Bid winner got 50,000 BTC in total, and from which the mystery Bitcoin company Cumberland Mining got 47,000 BTC, that enabled it to be the biggest winner in the third auction.

In the first and second auction,Tim Draper got 31,656 BTC in total,the group of Bitcoin trust fund and SecondMarket transaction sector got 48,000 BTC was the biggest winner in the second auction who got 48,000 BTC.

It is said that this will be the last auction related Silk Road which will provide 44,336 BTC to the potential investors.
